Greetings! I am Sarah Parsons DO FAPA FACLP – a Kentucky based, triple boarded psychiatrist hoping to make a difference in the world, one patient at a time. I was born and raised in Lexington, Ky and attended Centre College and Pikeville University School of Osteopathic Medicine. I completed residency in Psychiatry & Neurology at East Tennessee State University, where my interest in Medical Psychiatry started. I completed fellowship in Consult/Liaison Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, OH, specializing in women’s mental health, transplant psychiatry, HIV psychiatry, psychodermatology, psychooncology, and ICU psychiatry. I worked at Norton Cancer Institute in Louisville, Ky for nine years before branching out into private psychiatric practice and Interventional Psychiatry. I completed specialized training in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and incorporate non-medication strategies  into psychiatric care. I love getting to know my patients and working with them to create their best life! I am a solo practitioner with a small, non-emergent outpatient psychiatric practice.
